Please meet Miss Taylor Quinones, our fourth student showcased in a new series called, “Meet the Wilby Student Artists.”

Taylor is a senior and will be graduating this June of 2020. Taylor has been taking art classes for all four years of high school. She is extremely talented and enjoys drawing portraits of people from all ages. She is currently taking Painting and AP Studio Art. Taylor’s AP Sustained Investigation will focus on realistic portraiture of people who have had a big impact in her life. Each piece will be a portrait of a person with additional design work in the background describing what that person means to her. Taylor enjoys working with a variety of medium including charcoal, pastel, colored pencil and paint. In addition, on April 7, 2020, Taylor will be receiving the, Connecticut Association of School’s, Outstanding Ability in the Visual Arts Award.
