“C.A.B.E. (Connecticut Association of Boards of Education) Day on the Hill” on March 20 was a wonderful experience for not only myself but for all of the students involved. We had a chance to be part of a discussion that benefits us as students. We also got a tour of the Capitol Building in Hartford!

I enjoyed being able to walk on the same floor as our senators and representatives. It really put into perspective that, just like us, they are regular people. I’m very appreciative of the opportunity and thankful for being a part of something that will have a great impact on Waterbury Public Schools.
