If elected, what would you do to improve the school?

If elected Wilby Senior Class President, I will like to improve the school by implementing and bring back school spirit week. Try to inform and influence student the essence of starting voluntary work early in their freshman year help them to understand the values and commitment at an early age.

Why do you want to run?

I will like to run because I feel like I can inspire and encourage students to reach beyond what statics and their peers think that they are able to achieve by trying to establish a peer tutoring group. This will help students to be able to relate better with fellow young adolescence without being judged.

What makes you the most qualified candidate? 

What makes me the most qualified candidate is my strong educational background. My background consists of attending private school. Where I learned how to implement a strong consistent routine on studying and time management. These tools encourage me to changelled myself beyond limits I never imagined, I was capable of achieving. Throughout my years attending Wilby High School, I have developed strong interpersonal skills. This has influenced me  to become a very outgoing person. This year alone, I have been inducted into the National High School Scholar Society & National Honor Society. I also have ample amount of voluntary work at two different organizations totaling close to 400 hours of community service since 2016- present. In addition I have attended Uconn Pre- College Summer Program for Forensic Science. As well as a member of DECA and the yearbook club for three years. Throughout my career at Wilby I have learned how to multitask my studies, extracurricular activities, and my current job. On top of that, I am maintaining an A- average while taking AP & Uconn Classes.

What are the most pressing issues facing Wilby High School that need to be addressed?

The most pressing issues facing Wilby High School need to be addressed is student attendance and dress code. My reasoning is Wilby High School should implemented and be more concern on why students are not attending classes by trying to reach out to parents. I strongly feel the highschool students should have a larger variety of Wilby wear and not just athletic wear.

What do you want people to know before casting their ballots?

Prior to students casting their votes please realize that success isn’t perfect. It’s not a fairytale or a storybook it doesn’t always come easy. Success is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges fighting to achieve goals, holding on and never letting go. It’s a short word easy to spell however difficult to define. Remember everything you have faced all the battle you have won and all the fears you have overcome.

Why should people vote for you?

Wilby Senior Class should vote for me as president because I am an outstanding leader. I know I can guide our senior class with a pleasurable,energetic, memorable senior year.
