The Wilby High School football team lost to Torrington 34-12 on Friday, Oct. 26, to snap a three-game win streak.

Prior to the loss, the streak marked the first time since 2013 that the Wildcats have won consecutive games.

On Sept. 27, Wilby defeated Kennedy 34-17; on Oct. 4, the team defeated Crosby 20-14; and on Oct. 10, the Wildcats beat Derby on the road, 32-19.

Running backs Raekwon James, Dashaun Wilson and quarterback Aaron James have been standouts in the games, which have been true team victories with positive contributions from many people, according to players. Click here for highlights from the Crosby game from the Waterbury Rep-Am.
